gNB is IP connection based for IoT's, not 5G Radio. Connectivity coverage has no limitation, as long as IP connectivity provided and latency is acceptable. Device can use wired, WiFi, 4G/2G hotspot WiFi or Lora to get IP connected to IP-gNB.

5GIG has mechanism to define/build eSIM and allocate/release for device. Devices are grouped and pool of eSIMs are allocated to particular group. eSIM is shared by a group, one at a time and 1 or just few may be enough for entire group. eSIM and billing is made negligible, yet keeping the 5G standardization compiled.
